This Church is being built “upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone.” (Ephesians 2:20) We Teach, Preach and Practice the Apostolic Doctrine of the New Testament church as recorded in the bible. (Acts 2:37-42)
We Believe In EXACTLY what the Apostles Taught:
Repentance, Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, Being Filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance, (Acts 2:38-39) anointed worship, powerful old fashioned prayer, supernatural healings, miracles, signs and wonders. These things did not come to an end when the apostles died. These things are still available today to the True People of God.

You may be wondering what the word “Apostolic” means. “Apostolic” literally means “like the apostles.” At Change of Life Pentecostal Tabernacle, we pattern our church after the early church as recorded in the bible in the book of Acts. One can find no better example of how a Church should be, than to look at the Church established by Jesus Christ and Carried On by his apostles.
I Am…
At Change of Life Pentecostal Tabernacle, we do not believe in, nor take part in the
Stereo Typical Stigmatisms associated with Denominational and Large Organizational BUSINESSES that many people have labeled “ THE CHURCH “ . We are NOT an organization; WE ARE AN ORGANISM in the body of CHRIST.
The Bible tells us that “ For while one sayeth, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? (1 Co 3:3-4) the Bible tells us in the 3rd verse that they walk as men and NOT AS GOD.
The Bible tells us also that we are to walk as Jesus walked (1 JN 2:6) (1 Pet 2:21)
I am Apostolic
because…. I Follow the Doctrine of the Apostles … STEDFASTLY ( Acts 2:42 )
I am Pentecostal
because…. I have had, and continue to have the same experience that they had on the day of Pentecost in the bible the day that the 1st church message was preached and THE CHURCH was born. ( Acts 2:4 )
I, Being the pastor, am Baptist
because…I Baptize people , Not because somebody gave me a membership paper that said I am
I am Jehovah’s Witness
because….. I serve the Lord God Jehovah, and I witness for him
every chance I get ..LET ME START WITH YOU!
I am Church Of Christ
because…. We are the Church, and I serve and work for Christ.
I am Assemblies of God
because …… We assemble ourselves together WITH, and FOR GOD ….The bible tells us; “ Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (Heb 10:25)
I Am ALL of these things, because the Bible says that I am, not because man or a piece of paper says that I Am.
We need to get back to the basics and seek only the TRUTH and PURE WORD OF GOD
Brother Nathan’s Testimony
My family was Lutheran growing up. I went to church a few Sundays out of the year. In Junior High I even went through the Lutheran confirmation classes that were required of the church. I memorized a few things but nothing more than was required to pass. I was in High school when I first started being taught anything from the Bible about God, and I say that lightly. I visited a Church with a friend and it was different to say the least. Everyone was welcoming and it was the first time I was shown anything in the Bible to figure things out for myself instead of having the preacher just tell me what to believe. I remember being asked to go to one of the elders house shortly after attending services a few times to talk about my walk with God. He went through this bible that had marked pages that walked you through making the decision to get baptized or go to hell. So of course I was talked into getting baptized…
